Orders for lithium carbonate are scheduled until June this year

In Guangxi Huayou Lithium Co., Ltd, 1.5 tonnes of lithium carbonate products come off the production line every 10 minutes.

Liu Xiuqing, the person in charge of Guangxi Huayou Lithium Co., Ltd: "At present, our (lithium carbonate) orders have been lined up until June, and the production line is at full capacity."

As a global leader of new energy lithium materials, Huayou focuses on the booming market demand of the global new energy industry as well as the certainty of the growth trend, and in April 2022, we took our advantage in integration of industrial, and invested in Guangxi to establish Huayou Lithium Co. We mainly produce lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide, which are used in 3C battery, power battery, low-speed vehicle battery and energy storage systems. The first batch of qualified lithium carbonate products have been rolled out in 2023 and put into use in the downstream customers.

Huayou owns Arcadia lithium mine in Zimbabwe as raw material, and is one of the few integrated lithium extraction companies in China that is 100% self-sufficient in raw material. The raw materials used in Guangxi Huayou Lithium Industry are Huayou's own lithium ore, and the use of clean energy natural gas and green electricity provided by the State Grid contract, the application of transformation kiln accurate and long-lasting temperature control system, roasting material state quick judgement system and three-stage waste heat use system to achieve stable regulation of lithium crystal transfer, the use of lithium extraction technology by the sulphuric acid method of ores, and the application of flow-temperature field coupled carbonisation pyrolysis system, to achieve the production of battery-grade lithium carbonate products in a stable, efficient and energy-saving manner. Adhering to independent scientific and technological innovation, deepening the cooperation between industry, academia and research, breaking through the activation and acidification mechanism of lithium ores with different particle sizes, and optimising the production process design, so that the project's technology reaches the leading position in the industry.
